Road Food

I have learned that Bella "instantly" becomes hungry as soon as we start driving down the road...and from that point on I take on the role of flight attendant. So on the days that we are traveling, I like to prepare snacks ahead of time...chopping up yummy treats and putting them in the fridge so that I don't have to be doing that as we drive. On this particular day, we were having bananas, blueberries, and oranges. We also have a drawer of snacks that is low and easily accessible for Bella. She knows that she can go there at any time and grab whatever she wants. It's stocked with pretzels, food bars, dried fruits, crackers, etc. She feels empowered to make her own decisions regarding food, and it takes some of the stress off of me!
